It’s not every day you get asked to photograph a wedding in one of the most picturesque locations in the world. It also isn’t everyday that a couple asks if you like helicopter rides either.
Obviously the only acceptable answer was “HOLY MOLY YES OF COURSE!”.
Alisha and Michael got married in Queenstown, New Zealand in front of all their friends and family from Canberra. To say it was amazing was an understatement.
Everyone got ready at their AirBnB overlooking the lake and Cecil Peak where we would be flying to in just a little bit. Alisha’s sister drove us to the venue where we waited for the helicopter and got a few cheeky photos of them before it arrived.
Then it was off in the chopper to Cecil Peak to battle the cold, have a glass of champagne, and get some down right amazing photos of the two of them!
After that we flew back to the Venue where the ceremony took place (there was even a cheeky Lord of the Rings reference) and rest of the night included lovely speeches, dancing and eating cake. (The best part of any Wedding in my opinion)!
