THE REINTRODUCTION

Your career has moved forward.
Maybe it’s time your photos did too.

A fully guided portrait experience for established professionals whose visibility is catching up with their reputation.

For when the photo you’ve been sending for years is still fine — it just doesn’t quite represent the person you’ve become.

COMPLETELY GUIDED

You don’t need to know how to pose, what to wear or what to do with your hands. I’ll guide you through all of it.

POLISHED, STILL YOU

Warm, credible and current. Professional without feeling overly corporate or like you’re trying to be someone you’re not.

READY FOR WHAT’S NEXT

A collection of photos ready for the opportunities you know about — and the ones you don’t.

What Is The Reintroduction?

Watch the short video below to learn about what it’s all about and why you probably need to reintroduce yourself.

At some point in your career, something shifts.

You’re asked to speak on a panel.

Join a board.

Step into a leadership role.

Contribute to the media.

Launch something of your own.

Or someone simply emails and says:

“Can you send us a headshot?”

And there it is again.

The same photo you’ve been sending for years.

It’s still a perfectly good photo. Maybe you even really like it.

It just represents an earlier version of you.

The Reintroduction is for that moment.

It’s a fully guided portrait experience designed to create a collection of current, natural images that reflect the professional you are now.

While we call it a headshot session — because everyone knows what that means — it’s really more than that.

Your expertise.
Your personality.
Your confidence.
The human behind the professional.

We’ll create portraits and personal branding images that show your expertise, warmth and personality, so the next time someone asks for a photo, you’re actually excited to send one.

MORE THAN JUST A HEADSHOT

YOUR REPUTATION HAS EVOLVED. HAS YOUR PHOTO?

You’ve spent years building the experience, relationships and reputation you have now.

But your professional photos may not have moved with you.

Maybe you:

You don’t need photos that make you look more important.

You need photos that catch up with the reputation you’ve already earned.

This is for you if ...

YOU’VE BECOME THE SENIOR PERSON IN THE ROOM

It happened gradually. The people you started out alongside are now CEOs, founders, board members, professors and decision-makers. And somewhere along the way, you became the person people ask for advice, invite into the room and trust to know what she’s talking about. Your photos should reflect that — without needing to perform seniority for the camera.

YOU’RE BEING ASKED TO SHOW UP MORE

Boards. Panels. Leadership. Media. Speaking. A new role. A new business chapter. Maybe your career is becoming more visible by design. Or maybe the opportunities have simply started finding you. Either way, you want to be ready when they do.

YOU DON’T NECESSARILY WANT TO “BUILD A PERSONAL BRAND”

You just want a bank of excellent, current photos that feel like you and are ready when you need them. LinkedIn. Your website. Speaker bios. Board announcements. Media. Annual reports. Articles. Presentations. And all the other places someone inevitably asks: “Do you have a high-res photo we can use?” Now you will.

YOUR CURRENT PHOTO BELONGS TO AN EARLIER CHAPTER

It’s not necessarily a bad photo. It might actually be a great one. But perhaps it was taken five years ago. Before the glasses. Before the new role. Before the career change. Before you became the person you are now. You want to look like you now. Not a younger version. Not an overly polished version. You, on a really good day.

AND NO, YOU DON’T NEED TO SUDDENLY BECOME SOMEONE WHO LOVES HAVING THEIR PHOTO TAKEN.

I know how awkward it can feel on the other side of the camera.

I spent years avoiding it myself.

And after more than a decade photographing thousands of people, I can tell you that being comfortable in front of a camera is not something you need to arrive with.

You don’t need to practise your smile.

You don’t need to know your best angle.

And you definitely don’t need to spend the session wondering what on earth you’re supposed to do with your hands.

That's my job.

I’ll guide you through small movements and adjustments throughout the session. I’ll show you images as we go. We’ll work out what feels like you — and what doesn’t.

There’s no awkward silence while you try to figure out what to do next.

You don’t need to perform for the camera.

You just need to turn up.

— Alex, Photographer & Founder

SHOW UP ONLINE THE WAY YOU ALREADY SHOW UP IN THE ROOM.

You already know your stuff.

You’ve spent years building the experience behind your name.

The Reintroduction isn’t about manufacturing credibility or turning you into a “personal brand.”

It’s about making sure the person someone sees online matches the warm, interesting, experienced person they’re going to meet in real life.

Because there shouldn’t be a disconnect between the two.

Your photos should simply feel like an accurate introduction.

Or, perhaps, a reintroduction.

MAYBE YOU’VE BEEN MEANING TO DO THIS FOR A WHILE.

You know it’s on the list. But there’s always something more pressing. So you keep using the same photo.

Until suddenly there’s a conference program being printed, a new website going live or an announcement being made — and you need something by Friday. The Reintroduction means that next time an opportunity arrives, the photo is already taken care of.

You’ll have a collection of current images ready for LinkedIn, your website, media, speaking, boards, publications and whatever comes next. No digging through your camera roll. No reluctantly sending the old one again.

No “I really must get around to doing that.”
Done.

What's Included:

YOUR PLANNING CONSULTATION

Before the session, we’ll talk through what the photos need to do for you. Where will you use them? What’s coming up? What feels like you? What definitely doesn’t? We’ll plan the session around your work, personality and how you actually want to show up. No generic shot list required.

YOUR VIRTUAL STYLING CONSULTATION

No standing in front of your wardrobe the night before wondering what on earth you’re going to wear. Before your shoot, you’ll have a one-hour virtual wardrobe consultation with a professional stylist. Together you’ll choose 2–3 outfits from clothes you already own, considering colour, shape, accessories and how everything will photograph. You’ll know exactly what you’re bringing before session day. One less thing to think about.

PROFESSIONAL HAIR & MAKEUP

Arrive, sit down and let someone else take care of you for a change. Your hair and makeup artist will create a polished, natural look designed to photograph beautifully while still looking like you. This isn’t about changing your face or covering every line you’ve earned. It’s about taking care of the little things so you can walk into the session feeling ready.

TWO HOURS OF PHOTOGRAPHY

We’ll start with an hour in the studio, where we can create polished, professional portraits with a clean and timeless feel. Then we’ll move to an outdoor location or your workplace for another hour, giving you more relaxed, contextual images with variety and personality. Throughout the entire session, I’ll guide you. Where to stand. What to do with your hands. Where to look. Tiny adjustments to posture, expression and position. You don’t need to remember any of it. That’s what I’m there for.

20 FULLY RETOUCHED IMAGES

This is deliberately more than a couple of headshots. You’ll leave with a useful library of 20 finished images that can work across different parts of your professional life. Some more polished. Some more relaxed. Different outfits, expressions, crops and settings. Enough variety that you’re not using exactly the same photo everywhere for the next five years. Although if you do find a favourite and use it everywhere, I won’t judge. Additional images are also available if you fall in love with more.

HI, I'M ALEX

I’ve spent more than a decade photographing people — many of whom have started their session by telling me some version of: “I hate having my photo taken.”

Luckily, being photogenic isn’t something you need to bring with you.

I studied at art school, but a huge part of what I’ve learned about photographing people has come from the thousands of people who have stood in front of my camera since.

People who are confident.
People who are nervous.
People who haven’t had a professional photo taken in 15 years.
People who would genuinely rather be almost anywhere else.

My job isn’t just to know how to use a camera.
It’s to notice the small things.

To know when to give you direction and when to let something happen naturally.

To create enough conversation that you stop thinking quite so hard about the camera sitting in front of you.

And to recognise the moment when you actually look like you.

Warm. Credible. Relaxed.

Like the person your colleagues, clients and friends already know.

What I love most is meeting the people behind the titles and helping them create images that reflect who they really are.

Because you don’t have to be a model to have a great portrait.

A great portrait isn’t about perfection.

It’s about connection, warmth, confidence, and showing the human behind the professional.

My goal is simple:

I know how to help accomplished professionals feel at ease in front of the camera — and love their photos.

"Alex made what can often be an uncomfortable experience for camera-shy people feel relaxed, and even fun."
— Molly Haughey

"I looked happy, relaxed and professional."
— Amanda Turnill

"She made me feel completely at ease and turned the whole experience into something fun."
— Hala Batainah

1. BOOK A CALL

We'll start with a short discovery call to make sure the experience is right for what you need and find a date that works.

2. WE PLAN IT

We’ll talk through how you want to use your images, your wardrobe, locations and the overall feel you’re after. Your styling consultation will take care of the “what am I going to wear?” question before session day arrives.

3. HAIR, MAKEUP & A CUP OF TEA

On the day, you’ll start with professional hair and makeup. There’s no need to arrive camera-ready. That’s part of the experience.

4. LET ME DO MY JOB

Once we start shooting, I’ll guide you through everything. We’ll ease into it, make small adjustments and look at images together as we go. You’re not expected to know how to pose. You’re not expected to entertain the camera. You just need to turn up.

5. Choose Your Photos

After the session, you’ll select your favourite 20 images for professional retouching. Then they’re yours to use across your professional world. The next time someone asks for your headshot? You’ll have options.

6. Put Them Out In The Wild

Your final images will be ready to use wherever your next opportunity takes you.

Alex from Architectus

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY SHOULDN’T TRIGGER A SEARCH THROUGH YOUR CAMERA ROLL.

After The Reintroduction, you’ll have a library of professional images ready to go — whether someone asks tomorrow, six months from now or next year.

Images that work across:

LinkedIn and professional profiles
Your website
Board and leadership announcements
Speaker and conference bios
Media and PR
Articles and publications
Annual reports
Presentations
Social media
And whatever comes next

But more importantly, you’ll have photos you’re actually happy to send.

Photos that look current.

Photos that feel credible without feeling corporate.

Let's get real — what kind of experience can you expect?

"From her advice and guidance to how comfortable she made me feel in front of the camera, everything was perfect."
Chris Christis

SOMETIMES, YOU JUST NEED A HEADSHOT.

The Reintroduction is intentionally comprehensive.

It’s probably more than you need if you simply want one updated LinkedIn photo, need something quickly with minimal preparation, or don’t need a larger collection of images.

That’s exactly why I also offer Mini Headshot Sessions.

But if you’ve reached the point where you want to do this properly…

If you want variety rather than one or two photos…

If you want help with the wardrobe, hair, makeup, planning and posing rather than organising it all yourself…

And if you want a collection of images that can represent you through this next chapter of your career…

That’s what The Reintroduction was created for.

YOU’VE ALREADY DONE THE HARD PART.

Maybe it’s time to Reintroduce yourself.
