my Signature Headshot Session is a fully guided photography experience for professionals who want images that reflect where they are now - and where they're headed next.

While we call it a headshot session (because everyone knows what that means), this experience is really so much more. Think of it as a personal branding session – which is simply another way of saying we create a collection of images that showcase you.

HI, I'M ALEX

A headshot and personal brand photographer on a mission to help established business women achieve amazing imagery of themselves that they’re actually excited to share with the world.

I went to art school but quickly realised after graduating that I didn’t want to be an artist. After trying every genre in the book, I found that portraits were where I felt most useful (and met the most interesting people!)

Today, I combine my love of photography with my curiosity about people, creating images for professionals doing incredible things across technology, medicine, business, and beyond.

What I love most is meeting the people behind the titles and helping them create images that reflect who they really are.

Because you don’t have to be a model to have a great portrait.

A great portrait isn’t about perfection.

It’s about connection, warmth, confidence, and showing the human behind the professional.

Choose a date and we'll organise the behind the scenes session details including styling, hair, makeup, and locations.

Your styling consultation is booked a week before your session so you arrive feeling ready. Hair and make up happens the day of your session

4. Allow the magic to happen

Arrive at the studio ready to go and we’ll ease into the session and create a variety of images. I’ll show you the back of the camera so you can see what i’m seeing.

5. Choose Your Favourites

Within 24 hours, you'll receive your curated gallery and select your favourite images.

6. Put Them Out In The Wild

Your final images will be ready to use wherever your next opportunity takes you.

I hate having my photo taken. Will this work for me?

Absolutely. Most clients arrive nervous. You don’t need to know how to pose or feel comfortable in front of the camera — I’ll guide you through every step.

What should I wear?

You’ll work with a professional stylist to choose 2–3 outfits and accessories from your existing wardrobe. We’ll create looks that feel polished, professional, and authentic.

Where does the session happen?

Your session includes both studio and location photography — the studio for timeless professional portraits, and an outdoor or office environment for more relaxed personal branding images.

How long does the session take?

1 Hour Virtual Styling Consult (a week before session)

Allow 1.5 hours for hair and makeup

1 hour in studio and 1 hour on location

How many images do I receive?

Your package includes 20 professionally edited images, with additional images available if you’d like more.

How quickly do I receive my images?

You’ll receive your proofing gallery within 24 hours of your session, and final edited images within another 24 hours after you select your favourites.

The photos from the day were very high quality thanks to Alex’s expertise. We especially loved the ‘sneak peek’ photos that came a few days later - a select few highlights before receiving the full selection. We also got our photos back in under the time expected which a pleasant surprise. On the day itself, there was a slight hiccup with the displacement of our updated photo list and names had to be shouted out ad-hoc. Also, due to the cloudy and rainy weather, the group photos that took place under the gazebo turned out quite dark. Other than that, the photos Alex took were exceptional, especially the couple and bridal party shots. She did an amazing job wrangling our rowdy family and getting them to pose for the photos. We truly enjoyed working with her and would highly recommend her services
